Super washing machine!

The washer is a godsend! It fits more clothes per cycle than our previous washing machine AND it truly leaves our clothes cleaner and brighter than they were before being washed!. Great design, too. The owner's manual is also very helpful. It's too soon to tell (we've only had the machine for 3 weeks), but we're hoping the electricity usage will also be lower than that with our old washer.

This machine is horrible. It shakes my whole house. I™€™ve spent hours on the phone with GE and they have sent 4 service technicians, all of whom find nothing wrong with the machine, yet I cannot use it or it shakes the racks in my oven in the next room on every load! Nightmare service experience.

Front bottom door problem

Washing performance is ok. My biggest complaint is that the right bottom door to remove items from the pump filter and drain water from the drain horse is very hard to open. I have to struggle to open it with the driver!!

I had to choose this 2.4 cu.ft. washer for lack of space. However, following the 8 lb rule for a small washer this washer is excellent in cleaning my clothes. I like the design of the washer and how well it washes. I had a Samsung and they may look nice, it did not perform as well as the GE I now have. I also learned that you need to clean the filter in the front of the washer every 30 loads. I recommend buying this washer when space is a challenge.

I'm on my second set. I have an upstairs laundry closet so I don't have a lot of choices. The washing machine started leaking water after 5 years and repair could not identify a problem. When it began to leak again, I bought new. The set now costs +$600 more than they did 5 years ago. Drain hose on the washing machine is so short that the installer had trouble getting out of the small space.

I would stay clear of this dryer. Mine started having issues right after the 1 year was up. Yes, it is my fault for not getting the 5 year warranty. It would run for a few seconds and stop, even the panel would go off then light back up. I called GE and of course nothing but them offering to pay their people to fix it. Then it had not heat at all. Here I am after paying good money for this set and have been going to the laundromat for months when I have an almost new set at home. I would definitely not recommend this set.

Broke After 3 Months - 2 Months Later Still Broken

Our experience with this washer and GE™€™s customer service has been absolutely horrible. This washer broke after about 3 months of use. For two months now, this washer has not worked at all, and we have been working through GE to get it fixed (realistically we should get a new one since we effectively bought a defective washer for over a thousand dollars, but so far all they have done is string us along for two months trying to repair it). GE™€™s repair people just cancelled again for the second time after we waited around for them all morning, and they™€™ve rescheduled us to a date that is ten business days from now, meaning that this $1,000+ washer will have been broken and non functional 2.5 of our 5.5 months owning it. This is one of the worst product/customer service experiences I™€™ve ever had - avoid at all costs!

Intense vibration during spin cycle

Purchased washer and dryer in June 2024. Washer is a piece of junk! Do not purchase. During the spin cycles, the vibration is so intense that you can feel it throughout the house. (Washer and dryer are located on second floor.) I have had technicians out with no success in pinpointing issue. Replaced flooring with an LVT that has thicker padding and bought top of the line vibration pads. Nothing helps. After 15 months, I am at the point of trashing and buying a better non-GE product. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I love everything about this machine with respect to size, ease of custom selecting cycles, looks/fit, but I™€™ve only had it 2 months and so far have had to re-rinsed and spin two loads after the cycle had ended with far too much water in the clothing and bottom of machine. Loads were far from overloaded. Hoping this is a fluke! Opening the small door for cleaning required a TikTok video as the instructions be r mentioned how to open- use a knife and simply inset into slat and gently push down with one hand while pulling open with the other.

Seems to be good, small capacity but fits into my apartment. A little noisy during spin cycle but clothes are ready for the dryer. I wipe out any extra moisture on door and it seems not to collect moisture like most front washers do.
