The oven has a cooling fan that comes on with the oven and does not turn off until the oven has cooled. It is obnoxious and ridiculous. I cannot believe a stove is sold with this feature. I have to leave the room to escape the noise. Not advertised and salesperson was not aware and has apologized. I would return it in a heartbeat if I could. Rest of stove seems great and nice to look at. I'm really bummed this fan ruins it.

I absolutely love my new induction range. It is not only beautiful to look at, but a dream to cook with. Temperatures are much easier to contribute than my previous range, and everything I've made in the oven has come out perfectly. If I had to improve anything, it would be two things, I would appreciate dials that were easier to read. The writing on them is small and not hard to see in low light. The other thing is the indicator bell when the oven reaches temperature is faint and it's not as obvious to read when the temperature is reached. But otherwise I love everything about it! I had heard some complaints about the top scratching, but I have not had any problems with that. It still looks perfect after it's cleaned. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase!

I love almost everything about this range. The stovetop is very responsive and I love the knobs that control the burners. Very sturdy and attractive and easy to use. And,the setting is illuminated on the stovetop so even though I can't read the knobs I know the setting. The only thing I do not like is that since you cannot read the oven control knob at all I was expecting that when you picked a setting (like bake) it would show up on the control panel, but it doesn't and since it is impossible to read the knob (unless you have excellent eyesight) I had to make a cheat sheet of how many clicks in which direction each setting it and post it on my refrigerator. All Bosch had to do was to have the setting illuminated on the control panel and that would have solved this problem. If they had done this it would have been a 5 star rating.

I purchased a home and did a whole house remodel sfter selling my house of 30 plus years. My previous home had a very high end range(induction also)nbut that same range wet from 6500.00 in 2018-11,000.00nin 2025 so it was no longer in my budget. I was very disappointed but knew bosch was a great product so i chose it. i love this range i love the knobs instead of electronic controls, the cooktop heats up quickly and responds to temp decreases immediately I wish more people could understand how great induction works ,less exhaust needed, cooktop only heats pan resulting in very cool cooktop when cooking does not heat up kitchen and best of all very rapid heat withamazing temperature control Immediate response when turning the burners down no need to wait for any cool down The stove has a very high end lokk I love it mor than my high end stove in my previous home

I couldn't be happier with my new Bosch range. I love the induction cooktop. And the oven is perfect. I had read a few reviews complaining about the volume of the fan, but I haven't found that to be the case. I love it!

We had the regular electric version of this and it was pretty good. We thought that by stepping up to induction and knowing that Bosch has built a name for itself in good design and mechanical engineering that we would be even more satisfied but sadly the opposite. As mentioned on other reviews the fan is TOO LOUD. The surface area of the heat elements is also not great, it gives poor coverage and even with cast iron pans that typically conduct the heat well the heat point is restricted to the cross area. I really wish more reviews had been available. There is nothing I hate more than bad design, well except for wasting money on bad design. We spent the money thinking it would be justified. We were wrong. Bosch, you can do so much better.

We have been planning this for 2 years. We initially bought a single place portable inductive top (Duxtop) to see how this worked. It worked well but the fan made a loud noise making normal speech in the kitchen difficult. So we thought this is part of induction cooking. We then found a neighbor with an inductive cooktop to test out. It was not noisy but the controls on top and no knobs made it a non-starter. B&B appliance did not have the one we wanted on the floor and even if they did, it was not live. Turns out it is impossible to test one of these unless you drive to Irvine where one can try one out at the BSH Home Appliance showroom. We did this, brought our pans and pancake mix. When we got there we were told that we could not bring our own food in to cook. So we could not try out the range even though the advertising said clearly that this was a place to "test live appliances". We almost gave up. But we went in, saw how this one worked. It made a very loud buzzing noise when cooking on the inductive top. With all the pans they had. So now we thought this was how they worked. We again almost gave up. Luckily we did not because the one we bought and installed does not make a buzzing, vibration sound with our pans! Seems crazy that you would show appliances that have the worst characteristics not typical if one uses other pans or some other parameter is corrected. You should figure this out because you almost lost a sale. We have had this range for one day and cooked on it twice. It seems as good as we hoped. And we hope it will work well for many years.

Never had an induction oven it's kind of like gas it's on or off and I love that heats up quick then when you turn it off or remove the pan the burner is off and not hot so more efficient I also like that there is no bottom drawer and the rack system inside is awesome

We wanted an induction stove and have been impressed by the cooktop.
However, the thermal regulator on the oven broke during month 10 of our owning this range. The part was back ordered and we had so much trouble getting the part so we could get a repair under warranty. I am surprised by how quickly this range needed a repair and how difficult it is to get the necessary parts.

Still adjusting to the induction burners, but so far it rates 5 out of 5. The speed of heat-up is amazing as is watching food instantly stop cooking when the burner is turned off. The oven is very accurate. Every dish has been perfectly cooked at the exact time suggested in the recipe. The one negative is the oven knob. It is nearly impossible to read and I use a lighted magnifier to see where it needs to be set. If only there could be a readout on the display screen telling me where I have the knob set. I am otherwise very happy with the range.

I've had this oven now for over a year and it's been super reliable. Agree with the audible fan, but honestly don't even notice it, perhaps I'm used to it by now. It's super easy to clean and have never had an issue with it.

The family decision was made to change from election glass top to induction. We did fully comprehend the change this unit would bring. Easy of use, temperature continuity, clean up, over all functionality (large knobs, stove top temperature display, and many other small but loved details), lastly personnel safety with burner auto shut off give reassurance. An improvement would be to increase the "Timer/Oven to temp" volume for owners with hearing limitations. We have purchased many kitchen appliances and very few that have changed our cooking techniques the way this appliance has. Highly recommend this investment absolutely no regrets!!

This is my third purchase in the 800 series. The dishwasher is by far the best dishwasher I have ever owned. The fridge is also excellent. My latest purchase (the induction range) cooks very well. My only complaint is that the induction cooktop scratches easily. After only one month, there are scratches on the cooktop. I am the only user, so the cooktop is not getting hard use. Maybe Bosch can suggest special cookware that will not scratch the cooktop? It is so pretty and I would like to keep it that way!

I've had this range for five months and about a month ago the oven light went out. Bosch sent an appliance repair man who discovered that the bulb was defective. He said that it was only covered under warranty for 60 days so it would cost me $107 to have it replaced That is not what I expect from a $5000 range. I am not happy with this product.

We love how quickly water boils and how evenly the pans heat. The fan in the oven is not an issue as others have mentioned - it doesn't seem loud at all. The convection oven works very well - I've made cakes and they rise evenly. We love the professional design of the range with the feet and actual knobs.

This is a beautiful range, and I love induction cooking, but at this price point, it would be nice if the oven was self cleaning! Also, the plastic legs are very fragile and very expensive to replace! I have already purchased one replacement leg for $75, and I already need to replace another one!!

I'm very happy with my new induction range. After 2 years of research, Bosch was the one I chose. Sadly my 30" range has one feature missing from my wish list. Easy glide oven racks would have made it even better. It's only been a few days and I'm still learning my heat levels. The slight noise it makes with one of my pans is tolerable, not loud by a long shot.

I absolutly love this range. The look of the free standing range has elevated my kitchen from blah to wow! It is very easy to use and I am still learning how to regulate the tempatures for cooking. I love the roasting temperature probe feature that turns off the oven when your roast or chicken reaches the internal temp that was set. My chicken has turned out perfect every time! I like that temperature control knobs are made of metal and not plastic, an overall good quality product.

Yes the fan is a little loud but uses air for cooking and cooling so the fan goes on often because it's doin its job! It's stylish too but I really like the mechanics and tech. All you need is a 40 amp circuit on your electrical box

Purchased this brand new stove in October, after getting the stove delivered and installed it was not working correctly. Called Bosch & they sent a service company out to look at the stove who told me it needed returned and I would need a new one as it was not repairable. Fought with Bosch for SEVERAL months on trying to get this stove replaced, which was finally approved. However it is now the end of February, and I am without a stove as a new one hasn't showed up and I am now being told it is on back order. I do NOT recommend purchasing as the brand new stove did not work and the customer experience dealing with this has been horrible and nothing but problems.

We love our new Bosch 800 Series Induction stove. It is so easy to use and everything cooks perfectly. Baked items from the oven are so moist and delicious. We use oarchment paper under the pots and our glass top is preserving very well. Easy to clean and also very attractive we highly recommend this stove!

I like the stove very much. However, ten days before my warranty ran out the oven died. It took me from mid August to the day before election day to get a replacement and the effort to first repair it, and then replace it was arduous. I was expecting far better service.

In October of 2023, I purchased an Bosch HIS8055U range and for the first 6 months it worked great. In May of 2024 the oven quit working and I called Bosch customer service and was told that there were no service centers in my area and that I should find a local tech to do the repair. The problem was diagnose but the part can't be found anywhere. Bosch has been of no help and now I have $4K piece of junk sitting in my kitchen. On a positive note, the stove top works. I've been a loyal Bosch customer for 20 years but this is the last piece of trash I'll ever purchase.

Induction cooktop is the highlight of this range for me. Oven seems to work well, too, but heats up a bit slowly (compared to my last range), and is a little noisy. But the pleasure of an induction cooktop outweighs any cons. And the range looks great, too.

Read many reviews prior to buying. This range cooks and bakes great. The fan is a bit noisy. Another small issue is the writing on the knobs is difficult to read. That said, would definitely buy again.

I chose this induction range because I liked the way it looked in my kitchen. However, I discovered that this range can boil a pot of water in less than 3 min, and I can get smokiness needed in my wok cooked food. A beast! I would have given this 5 stars but I had problems with the oven portion almost immediately after it was installed. The oven has an extremely loud fan. it takes a long time to pre-heat. And upon my second time of using the oven, there was a glitch where the fan stayed on even when the oven was off. The fan was so super annoying that for I had to shut off the power from the breaker to keep turn the noise off. That meant everytime I needed to use the range, I needed to switch the breaker back on. A technician was unable to do their first visit for over 3 weeks! Final solution was installed over 5 weeks after the problem was report. And a smaller issue is the dial that controls the oven. Based on the angle of the knob and the way the light dial markings, it is very difficult to read the oven functions. Unlike the range knobs where the levels are shown digitally on the glass top, the range function requires squinting and squatting to see if you're broiling or proofing.

This range was clearly designed to look pretty, but not be user friendly. The oven has no calibration function and is at least 15 degrees F off, requiring manual adjustments with every use to ensure accuracy. It also beeps nearly inaudibly when theoretically finished reheating, even though the oven temp is still 40 degrees F away from the input temperature. The knob controls are illegible and don't display on the digital display that was obviously designed more than 30 years ago and never brought into the 21st century. And heaven knows why hot pots stick to the cooktop (never happened on my prior German built model from a competitor). BSH desperately needs to pay more attention to accuracy and user functionality.

I've given my gas range a workout over the years and my new Bosch range is better. The flat top has no rubber edges to catch good bits in. The induction is responsive and hot. The butter chocolate setting is perfect. The oven is great.

The cooktop, which I care about most, works well enough, but there are other major design flaws with this range make this range less easy to use than it should be. Sadly, this seems to be consistent with my general experience with other BSH Home appliances (including the far worse Thermador dual fuel range which this replaced, which was designed exclusively for looks, not functionality). Oddly, the oven has no self-cleaning function, which is standard for ranges from most other manufacturers. The most limiting function is the use of early 1990s-era user unfriendly digital displays that make users first waste time trying to interpret and translate readouts into real words (yes, 30+ year old technology). The oven knob has tiny illegible print shaded under the cooktop overhang, with no corresponding digital readout, making it difficult to see settings. Once again, too much focus on form rather than function by this BSH brand appliance. There is no reason they shouldn't focus on both form and function, especially for something in this price range. Digital displays desperately need to be updated to 21st Century technology.

Decided to make the switch from nat gas to induction and have now used it to host dinners for 7-14 people and also just for two. I've gotten to use almost every function. Pros: easy cleaning, quick boil function and other presets options. Cons: the dials are covered by an overhang and b/c the lights are also overhead the oven dial, in particular, can be hard to read as the display doesn't indicated which function is selected. If you are over 50 this is a big deal where low light makes small print hard to read. I wish the knobs turned both directions.

I bought and returned (at a hefty restocking fee) this stove because of the very loud fan noise. I thought I could tolerate it, but I was wrong.
The level of noise to expect is a loud range exhaust fan. I.e., you won't be able to talk over the fan without raising your voice. If you are playing music in the kitchen, you effectively won't be able to hear it.
There are other ranges that are quieter, which is a shame since this stove is so pretty. I went with the cafe induction and the fan is about 10% the noise of this range.
