Excellent dryer

My new dryer is absolutely wonderful! I have recently become disabled and the only place to put a dryer would be in our linen closet. My husband did some work and made the closet into a space for stackable washer and dryer. The only company that made the dryers and washer in a size that would fit in that closet is Bosch. The dryer has timed dry plus sensed dry plus permanent press plus heavy plus towels. It is more than a wonderful dryer. If it hadn't been for Bosch, I would not be able to do my laundry as we have three flights of stairs in our home. This is our third purchase of a Bosch appliance and we absolutely love them.

Purchesd several years ago. Drys really slow.. not good if you live in the hot humid south.. take twi to three cycles to dry. Always trwos th DR code.. have had it looked and and cleaned professionalls twice. I would LOVE a vented dryer. My last Bosch washer and dryer laster 18 yeras. This one is ready for the trash heap!

A Different Kind of Dry - But I Like It!

Using this heat pump dryer is a very different experience from using a conventional hot air dryer. The clothes feel warm and slightly damp after the cycle finishes, but once clothes cool to room temperature, then they feel dry. Cycles take a little longer, and the exterior of the appliance heats up. I'm using that heat to my advantage this winter; I'll have to see how it is in the summer. I love that it is ventless. Overall, it's taking a little getting used to, but so far I like it, and I appreciate saving energy a great deal.

The Bosch 300 series Compact Condensation Dryer works better than I ever imagined. Dries faster and better than I expected. Seems to be better for my clothes. It took a little to adjust to the condensation dryer, like it is best to dry similar weight clothing together. This machine is perfect for smaller spaces especially if you need a ventless dryer.

The amount of maintenance this dryer requires is absurd. And even when it's performed exactly as directed by the owner's manual, the dryer is still worthless. It leaks, smells, and turns my house into a sauna. What's worse is that it doesn't dry laundry! Ever! Like, at all! It turns off when things are still wet and there's no way to override the automatic shut-off. The troubleshooting info from the manual basically says, "Oh, your laundry isn't dry? Are you sure, because we're pretty sure it is." Never have I ever been gas-lit by an owner's manual. I hate this dryer so, so much!

Not good quality

We bought this dryer just over two years ago. All of the sudden it stopped working (we clean the filters regularly etc, follow all maintenance recommendations). Ahd someone come out that Bosch recommended and were told the main control panel needed to be replaced. The part and the service to replace it is almost half the cost of a brand new dryer. Called bosch and the best they can do is 1/2 off the price of the part and that is only IF we buy it directly from them. The repair company they recommended will not guaratee their work at all if we buy the part from BOSCH. I bought a BOSCH based on brand reputation but I am a bit dissapointed.

Only my first wash but I love how quiet both the W&D run. Also looks to be water efficient as not much water is being used and the results are great. Prior to these units, I had Bosch W&D for the past 15 years.

Very aggravated and stressed out

We've bought the washer and dryer and had it for around 6 years. In these 6 years, we've needed it to be repaired 4 times and today, it is likely we need a new dryer. The middle part that sticks out of the dryer one day fell off. Now, there is exposed metal, we were not aware of this until we dried 2 loads and ended up with all our clothes shredded/ripped. Serviceman just arrived and will quote us for the part tomorrow. With all the money we spent in repairs already, we think it is likely we just need a new unit. We are incredibly upset as a Bosch unit should last over 10 years - 6 years is unacceptable. When the unit was under warrenty, it was great, all repairs were free. But, we've been needing to pay into it for the past 4 years now. Now the question is, what should I get next? Do I give Bosch another chance or go with another company?

Bosch Condensation Dryer

We purchased the Bosch washer and dryer for our New Jersey residence as we needed a compact system. If you put a load into the dryer, it takes over two hours for the items to dry. We are very disappointed in this product. We have been using Bosch for over 15 years and both of our residences and we're always happy until this new purchase this year. I do not recommend the condensation dryer and I feel that they should replace the dryer as we've used it maybe 10 times.
